Who We Are
Quanada provides emotional, physical, and crisis support for those who have been battered or abused. The people we help come from all social and economic backgrounds, from all races and religions, men and women. They are your friends, neighbors, and co-workers. There is no typical victim....only those caught in situations beyond their control.
Quanada helps victims in three major areas:
1. Counseling, Individual and Group
2. Advocacy
3. Shelter
Our free and confidential services include but are not limited to: crisis intervention,
24-hour hotline, shelter, counseling, court and medical advocacy, follow-up, transitional housing, food pantry, clothing room and educational and prevention services.
The Sexual Assault Crisis Intervention Team has someone available to meet you at the Emergency Room 24 hours a day, every day.
Quanada has a crisis counselor available 24 hours a day. Quanadas services are available in 5 counties: Adams, Brown, Hancock, Schuyler, and Pike. Our main office is in Quincy, Illinois. We have satellite offices in Pittsfield, Rushville, and Mt. Sterling.
