Quanada's Prevention Programs
The Prevention Program seeks to reach people before they become victims of violence. We will explain what abuse is and what you can do in those situations. All services are free and confidential.
We will work with any youth group: schools, church groups, neighborhood groups, scouting groups etc. and present our information.
Education Is The Key To Ending Violence
Date Rape Drugs: Presentation includes a 15-minute video that gives a brief overview of date rape drugs and how they are used.
After the video a detailed discussion will be held teaching youth the different types of date rape drugs, the effects they may have and ways to avoid being date rape drugged.
Total time: 45-50 minutes.
Dating Violence: A 20-minute video called Red Flags leads into a presentation that includes a detailed discussion about relationships.
We will talk about the warning signs of a potential abuser, good relationships versus bad relationships, and how to get help and out of a bad relationship.
Total Time: 45- 50 minutes.
Sexual Harassment: The presentation will start with a 29-minute video called Stop It Now. We will then discuss the video to ensure everyone understands the difference between sexual harassment and flirting.
Total Time: 45- 50 minutes

All subjects can be adjusted to a longer or shorter class time.
Other topics that can be presented are Stress, Bullying and Date Rape.
